Edit files ​

The file editing functionality in the Files service allows you to modify the contents of multiple file formats.

You can use this feature in two weys:

  1. Through the Context menu associated with each file

  1. By clicking the Edit icon on the top panel when your file is selected.

File formats you can edit: ​

  • Text files (.TXT)
  • JavaScript Object Notation files (.JSON)
  • JavaScript files (.JS)
  • HyperText Markup Language files (.HTML)
  • Cascading Style Sheets files (.CSS)
  • SubRip Subtitle files (.SRT)

Standard text manipulation operations, such as printing, deleting, copying, and pasting content, are supported for these files. This feature simplifies the process of making quick changes to your files without needing to download and re-upload them.
